Proper Photography Kernow (PPK), Newquay’s independent photo lab is run by a young local person providing photographic services and retailing associated photographic materials.
At Proper Photography Kernow we have three Kodak Kiosks for printing photos from mobile phones, flash drives and SD cards. Printed on high quality Kodak paper available in a variety of sizes up to 8” x 6”. PPK also print large sized images or artwork on photographic lustre paper or poster paper up to 24 inches (60 cm) in width. We can laminate up to size A2.
A wide range of other services are provided including picture, slide and negative scanning as well as photograph restoration. Our state-of-the-art passport and visa photographic equipment produces photographs to the correct requirements of most countries worldwide.

Same day film development
Film photography is a fast-growing trend amongst young people.
PPK develop 35mm colour film which we digitise by scanning at the customer’s choice of resolutions. These can also be printed if required.
The process can be same day if brought in before 3:00pm otherwise the following working day. We also develop black & white film.
Vintage Film Cameras
There is a wide choice of vintage film cameras from cheaper beginner’s options to higher end models for more experienced photographers.
PPK stock competitively priced disposable film cameras and Kodak underwater film cameras. There is a good range of very competitively priced film which ranges from lower end Kodak ColorPlus (ISO 200) through to Kodak Portra 800. Alternatives include Ilford black & White film, Candido, Ektar and AGFA film
