The Island is securely fenced and suitable for children and dogs. All the large sandy beaches below The Island are dog-friendly, all year round.

Although the garden area is not large, because it stretches all around the house and has an extra lower level terrace there is always somewhere for you to sit in comfort and find just the right angle of sun, watch the surfers, identify the birds busy at the bird feeder, or just hide away with a book in a deckchair, hanging seat or free-standing hammock.
