Big Newquay Tree Plant

Join us for a community tree-planting day as we create Newquay’s newest woodland at Trenance.

We’ll be transforming half a hectare of green space by planting 500 trees, including an orchard, to support wildlife, boost biodiversity, and create a greener, more resilient space for everyone to enjoy. Participants will also have the chance to plant a personal tree and watch it grow for years to come.

No experience is needed, tools, guidance, and support will be provided. You’ll receive information about your tree’s species and location so you can find it again in the future.

What to bring:
Sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, and gloves or a spade if you have them.

Who can join:
Everyone is welcome — families, individuals, and community groups. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Free event — registration required.

Come along and help grow Newquay’s future 🌳
