Newquay Sessions: The First Wave

The summer season kicks off in style as The First Wave launches Newquay Town Council’s “Newquay Sessions” — a fantastic series of FREE live music events taking over the Killacourt in the heart of town.

Expect a full day of live entertainment, family-friendly atmosphere and summer vibes, with performances from local talent and crowd-pleasing acts throughout the day.

Line-Up

11:15am – 12:45pm – Chris Hogg
1pm – 3pm – K POP Krew bringing all your favourite K-pop hits, from Demon Hunters to APT and more
3:30pm – 5pm – The Qwest

The event will be hosted and hyped by Radio Newquay throughout the day.

Plus…

• A pop-up bar on the Killacourt (closing by 6pm)
• The BIG Newquay Market hosted by Cornwall Shop Small across the Killacourt and town centre
• Newquay Carnival returning to the town from 6pm following the sessions

With live music, shopping, entertainment and carnival celebrations all in one day, this is set to be one of the highlights of the summer in Newquay.
