Those in glass houses

Newquay! Get this in your diary!

Don’t miss this free outdoor show coming to the town…

Sunday 30th June, 2pm
The Fly Cellars (near the Harbour)

Perfect for all ages!

“Those in Glass Houses” is a celebration of glass and all its fragilities. Combined with a giant pendulum, a ton of bricks, and the assurance of protective eyewear… the glass is kept safe in the hands of the two most trustworthy jugglers around. Brace yourself for swinging bricks, comedic catapults, and the orchestrated chaos of glass-shattering domino runs in this adventure of controlled destruction. Groundswell and Carn to Cove are delighted to present the event as it stops off in Newquay (which one of only two towns in Cornwall on its international tour).

No ticket needed! Just turn up. However, please arrive a little early to get a good viewing position. It is recommended that you bring a folding chair or a cushion to sit on.

Stay Safe!

Please note that the Fly Cellars is outdoors and safely protected by a wall/fence surrounding the space. However, it is situated directly by the sea with a sheer drop beyond the wall/fence, so all children are strictly the responsibility of their caregivers and must be supervised at all times.

The Fly Cellars involves accessing semi-steep and uneven ground so please take care as you make your way into the space. If you haven’t been to the venue before, follow this link to see the short walk from The Red Lion pub:

In the event of high winds or very wet weather, the show will be moved indoors. Updates will be given at the event page:
