Maia Walczak is an award-winning children’s book illustrator, author, artist and muralist based in Newquay.

Meandering through forests, oceans, outer space and inner space, her work celebrates the natural world and the bizarre and awe-inspiring concept of existence itself.

She loves to tell stories that open hearts and minds, and give voice to compassion, connection, sensitivity, wonder and curiosity.
