Other Street Art Sites

MUQY is the latest addition to Newquay’s Street art scene, but there are plenty of other existing sites around the town, that are worth exploring too. Find out some of our top suggestions below.

SeaSpace

Hire a Beryl Bike and cycle up to SeaSpace to admire the huge coastal street art mural that adorns the side of its building in Porth.

The man behind the brush, local contemporary artist, creative ambassador, and all-around community legend, Phil Strugnell,  created this spectacular piece of artwork.

Phil Strugnell, a passionate advocate for the arts, is a resident of Porth and the Head of Art at a local secondary school. His love for the area is evident in his striking artwork on SeaSpace.

And whilst you are marvelling at his artwork, make sure you check out all of the onsite facilities. Outdoors, gardens, playgrounds & a maze await. Or indoors, there’s a 19m classic Miami-inspired oceanview, high-spec gym, plus the first UK Padel singles courts in the SW. Plus delicious treats at the open-plan lobby cafe, which is open to all. Serving up pastries, barista coffee and freshly made breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes daily.
