Join us for a rewarding morning by the sea as we combine community action with hands-on marine conservation.
We’ll kick things off at 9:30am at Little Fistral, where the team from Newquay Beach Care will be there to welcome you. They’ll provide all the equipment you need for the beach clean, just bring yourself, weather-appropriate clothing, and plenty of enthusiasm.
Alongside the clean-up, enjoy some fascinating marine insights from Blue Reef, who will be bringing along a selection of engaging props including real dried lobster molts offering a closer look at how these incredible creatures grow and develop.
The highlight of the morning will be a very special experience with the National Lobster Hatchery. Participants will have the unique opportunity to gently release baby lobsters into the rockpools, an unforgettable way to support local marine conservation efforts.
Light refreshments will be available to keep you fuelled throughout the morning.
