Already so exhausted with legs so terribly sore,

He came upon some train tracks, so pedalled a little more.

He followed the tracks awhile, wondering where they might lead,

Chapter Three

What a pleasure it was to give his weary legs a rest,

And as soon as he looked around he felt hope in his chest.

For here there were beings with all kinds of similar features,

“Am I one of you?” he asked one of these small human creatures.

She was mesmerised by him, but sadly shook her head,

“But I may know some helpers, out in the fields,” she said.

She pointed at the meadows that were passing them by,

“Creatures great and small live here, I think they’re worth a try,

They may have answers for you, I hope so, good luck my friend!”

And so with thanks he left her, with hope in his heart again.
