Earthwave World Record Attempt

Get ready for a huge day on the sand as Earthwave, presented by Earniversity, brings its legendary World Record Attempt to Newquay for the first time!

On 19 September, Great Western Beach will come alive with surfers, families, local businesses and the wider Newquay community for an afternoon celebrating everything we love about beach culture.

Expect surfing, live music, food, good vibes and plenty of entertainment, all building towards one incredible moment:

Can more than 110 surfers ride the same wave at the same time?

Whether you’re taking part in the record attempt, supporting the surfers from the beach, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, everyone is invited to come along and be part of what promises to be a memorable day in Newquay.

Bring your friends and family, head down to Great Western Beach and join the crowd as Newquay attempts to make a little bit of history.

Surf. Celebrate. Support. Be part of the wave.
